DIY #10 P-Style Bass from Parts

After I swapped out the P-style neck for a J-style neck on my first DIY bass project, I used the left-over neck to start this build from parts. I ordered a Sycamore body from Walmart, similar to the Tele body used for DIY #8. These have a beautiful wood grain pattern, and the Minwax Tung Oil Finish shows it off nicely. I got a similar chrome bridge with brass saddles and tortoise shell pickguard, and except for the Tele parts guitar having a maple fingerboard, these could be twins. Because of the lightweight body, it has neck dive much like my Paulownia DIY #7 bass, maybe even a little more because of the heavier Fender-style tuning machines.
