This is the first time I have not had to finish a guitar body. This Telecaster style kit came with a pre-finished white body. I sanded and applied Minwax Tung Oil Finish to the neck and headstock, then was able to assemble this kit. It kind of takes away from the unique experience of the DIY build, but it was interesting to try it once. Will I do it again? I don’t know. Everything here is completely stock. Maybe I should at least change the pickguard.
