DIY #27 Jazz Style Bass

This Jazz style bass didn’t have a brand name on it, but it was called a “KJazz” which is the name used by a company called Ktaxon. But, if you compare their products, Ktaxon and Glarry have the same stuff. And I found this exact bass kit on the Glarry website. So, go figure.

It’s a mahogany body, so I used my favorite burgundy Keda Wood Dye blend then finished with Minwax Wipe-On Poly. The neck and headstock have Tru Oil Gunstock Finish. And like all Glarry “Jazz” style basses, it actually has a P-style 42mm neck and nut width. I replaced the chrome knurled knobs with black plastic Jazz bass style knobs.
