This is one of my favorites, a Stratocaster style kit from Coluber Cable, ordered from Walmart and shipped from Amazon. I know nothing about the company and haven’t seen any more kits from them. It has a mahogany body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. I used a custom blend of Keda Wood Dyes for the body finished with a few coats of Minwax Wipe-On Poly, and Minwax Tung Oil Finish for the neck.
This kit came with a generic, standard preloaded S-S-S pickguard. I found this somewhat unique pickguard preloaded with H-S-H pickups at Amazon. It also has mini toggle switches that further enhance the versatility of the pickups by switching between single coil, and parallel configurations and allowing one of the coils to always be active in every combination.
